Back in November, Arc System Works announced Downtown Rantou Koushinkyoku: Kachinuki Kakutou SP. Now, we’ve learned that H2 Interactive, the company that localized River City Super Sports Challenge ~All Stars Special~, will bring this game west as River City Melee: Battle Royal Special. It will be available in English and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
In River City Melee: Battle Royal Special, characters from the Kunio-kun series participate in battle royals on the PlayStation 4. There are Single Play, Free Battle, and Online Battle modes.
River City Melee: Battle Royal Special will be released on the PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 26, 2016. The English and Chinese versions will be released in early 2017. Regions haven’t been announced for H2 Interactive’s localizations.
