Earth Defense Force Clip Looks Back At Series, A Peek At What’s To Come In EDF 5

D3 Publisher shared their New Year’s message for the fans with a special video looking back at past Earth Defense Force titles, including a sneak peek at what’s to come in Earth Defense Force 5.

Here’s the video from the series’ official Twitter account:

The Earth Defense Force 5 teaser is shown towards the end of the video, where we get to see the frog-like creatures known as “Colonists.” These guys are humanoid aliens, but unlike humans they’re able to regenerate lost limbs if left alone long enough. They’re also tactical creatures that know how to take cover and more, so it looks like we’ll be dealing with some pretty tough amphibious enemies in Earth Defense Force 5.

Earth Defense Force 5 is slated for release in Japan for PlayStation 4 in 2017.
