In F-Zero X, players have access to 30 pilots. Four of them, Captain Falcon, Dr. Stewart, Pico, and Samurai Goroh, return from the original F-Zero, while the other 26 are new characters. Jack Cup, Queen Cup, King Cup, Joker Cup, and X-Cup Circuits are available, with tracks like Mute City, Big Blue, Port Town, Red Canyon, Fire Field, Rainbow Road, and Space Plant available. In addition to the Grand Prix Cup, there are Death Race, Time Trial, and Versus modes. The X-Cup might be the most interesting, as it is a race with randomly generated tracks.

F-Zero X is $9.99 on the Nintendo Wii U eShop.
