The third bonus for pre-ordering the expansion is the early access. Similar to what we’ve seen in previous expansions, you’ll need to register a pre-order code in order to play during the early access period, which begins Friday, June 16, 2017 at 2:00am PDT/9:00am GMT (Tentative).

The pre-order code will be distributed when pre-ordering copies of Stormblood, and can be redeemed on the Pre-Order Redemption site via the Mog Station or PlayStation Network for PS4 to get the pre-order bonuses. Note that early access codes may not be available immediately upon redemption and will be delivered at a later time.

Keep in mind that there will be a maintenance prior to the early access period, so depending on the maintenance completion time, the early access schedule is subject to change.

Here’s another important note to keep in mind about participating in the early access:

In order to access the content added in Stormblood during early access, players will need to complete certain Heavensward quests. However, as long as you have a Disciple of War or Magic class/job that is level 50, you will be able to acquire the new job, Red Mage, regardless of quest progression as the quest to unlock Red Mage will be in a 2.0 area.

For current PS3 players, Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood will end the service for PlayStation 3, but there will be another PS3 to PS4 Upgrade campaign. Get more info in the following links for North America, Europe, and Japan.

Here’s the upcoming schedule we got for the expansion:
