Psychonauts In The Rhombus Of Ruin Begins Its Rescue On February 21, 2017

The gap between Psychonauts and Psychonauts 2 will be bridged next month. Double Fine Productions took to the PlayStation Blog to reveal the release date for Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin. On February 21, 2017, PlayStation 4 owners with the PlayStation VR headset will be able to help Raz, Lili, Sasha, Milla, and Coach Oleander rescue Truman Zannotto, head of Psychonauts.

The problem is, when Raz and his friends go to stage the rescue, they’re also caught and held captive in the Rhombus of Ruin. Stepping directly into Raz’s shoes with the PlayStation VR, players will have to find Lili, Sasha, Milla, Coach Oleander, and Truman Zannotto and discover who kidnapped them in the first place. People will be able to use Clairvoyance to see through other people’s minds and get a better idea of general situations in each area, Pyrokinesis to set things in your way on fire, and Telekinesis to move objects.

Psychonauts 2 is in development and scheduled to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2018.
