Now that Nioh finally released, Koei Tecmo has put together one more story trailer that tells us a bit about William’s story that will go untold in history, but remembered as a legend by those in the underworld.
The trailer titled “The Fight of Those Who Lived in Darkness” tells us about the untold history of William Adams, or “Anjin Miura,” who took on a giant monster that was born from the souls of samurai that fell in war. William vanished without a word and his victory wasn’t written in history, nor did anyone actually know about it. However, it lives on as a tale that lives on within those in the underworld—the legend of Nioh.
