Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed in a recent live stream to celebrate NieR: Automata’s release that Gravity Rush 2’s protagonist will get a collaboration costume of 2B from NieR: Automata. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

The special talk from the “PlayStation Matsuri” event was mostly various developers there to celebrate the launch of NieR: Automata in Japan, and they pretty much decided on the spot to have a 2B costume for Kat as part of a collaboration. The Gravity Rush 2 team said that the costumes the game has seen so far has been well-received by fans and were hoping to have a 2B costume as well.

Producer Yosuke Saito and director Yoko Taro were totally okay with the idea as well, but since it was decided on the spot, we don’t have any visuals for what it will be like. In any case, we’ll likely see it sometime in the near future, and perhaps even a Kat costume for 2B in NieR: Automata.

NieR: Automata is now available in Japan. The game releases in North America on March 7 and Europe on March 10, 2017 for PlayStation 4. The PC version will be available sometime in 2017. Gravity Rush 2 is available for PlayStation 4.
