Square Enix recently announced Star Ocean: Till the End of Time is getting an emulated HD release as a “Director’s Cut” version in Japan for PS4, and today they announced it’ll release on March 31, 2017.

As previously detailed, the game is an up-rendered HD version on PS4, meaning that it runs using the PlayStation 4’s PS2 emulator, with optimized appearances to reduce jaggy edge, improvement on its lighting, and overall better visuals.

The game will also feature trophy support, share function, remote play, and improved load times from the original PlayStation 2 version.

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time Director’s Cut releases in Japan on March 31, 2017 for 2,800 yen plus tax.
