Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia Trailer Looks At Its Two Armies

In Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadow of Valentia, players are following two separate heroes as they see all sides of the story. Both Alm and Celica are attempting to unify Valentia. As a result, this means there are two armies under your control. The latest trailer offers a look at these forces by showing Alm’s Zofian Resistance and Celica’s forces.

After introducing the forces, the Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia trailer goes over some of the battle and gameplay elements that appear in this installment. For example, it shows the map with various battles that can be fought and towns that can be visited, as well as a glimpse at dungeon exploration. It notes that it is impossible to pair up units in this installment. It also shows how some units have changed, by showing how archers have variable ranges and even occasionally the ability to counterattack and mages’ spells can use up their health.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia will come to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on April 20, 2017 and in North America and Europe on May 19, 2017.
