Recommended Videos

No, this isn’t some week-late April Fools’ joke. The SNES, which originally launched 26 years ago, will be getting a brand-new title in a few months. Unholy Night: The Darkness Hunter is a 3D fighter made by former SNK staff members.

The game features Story, Versus, Survival, and Practice Modes, and can be played by up to two players. It is available for pre-order over on Amazon, with the release date set as June 19. Regardless of whether this is a placeholder date or not, the game will nonetheless be out sometime this year.

Unholy Night: The Darkness Hunter is scheduled to release for the SNES on June 19th, 2017.
