Koei Tecmo revealed in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine that Dynasty Warriors 9, the series’ first open-world title, is in development for PlayStation 4 and it will feature new actions to give it a fresh new take.
In addition to the traditional action that for taking out thousands of enemies at a time, some of the new actions include shooting down enemies from a distance and using grappling hooks to infiltrate enemy castles. The magazine also confirms Cheng Pu as one of the new generals.
Koei Tecmo offers various “innovations” along with new attack actions, new characters, and more.
