While previous Akiba’s Beat trailers have done a nice job of introducing people to some of the game’s most important characters, the newest trailer goes over another group of Akihabara residents we’ll meet. It turns out our party will be spending some time interacting with the city’s maids.
The Akiba’s Beat trailer shows interactions with Kanata, Moe, and Yoshino, three of the helper maids we’ll meet and work with in the game. These characters almost seem to function like Persona 3, 4, and 5’s navigators, offering commentary in dungeons and battles. It also looks like there will be event scenes where we get to work with and learn more about each of these characters.
The voice actresses for Akiba’s Beat’s first three helper maids were also revealed. Here is the list of actresses playing them.
- Kanata Saotome is played by Karen Strassman
- Moe Suzumori is played by Alexis Tipton
- Yoshino Saionji is played by Lauren Landa
Akiba’s Beat comes to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on May 16, 2017. It will arrive in Europe on May 19, 2017.
