Sony established the company ForwardWorks to focus on the smartphone market and it’s been revealed that their very first mobile title is Everybody’s Golf for Android and iPhone. Here’s a look at a new trailer.

As you’d expect from a smartphone version of Everybody’s Golf, it has simple controls where you just pull and release in timely manner for nice shots. While the controls are simple, the game has more gameplay depth with the factor of wind and tricky courses that’ll require the right strategy and technique to take on.

The “Golf Alone” mode lets you go on a trip to try out various courses from around the world and challenge the boss characters. In VS Mode you’ll get to participate in ranked matches and tournaments against players from around the world.

Again, the game offers various customization options using costume pieces and other items for your character’s appearances. You can further customize your character’s parameters and skills as well to come up with your very own golfer on smartphone.

Pre-registration is now open in Japan, and they’re giving away an avatar prize ticket for 100,000 registrants, the ticket plus 2,000 coins for 150,000 registrants, and additional exclusive costumes at the 200,000 registrants mark for bonuses. They’re also giving out extra coins as a bonus, which will be determined by how many people follow the official Twitter account. And finally, they’re also giving away coins for the number of friends that add the game’s official LINE account.

Everybody’s Golf is in development for iPhone and Android.
