Root Letter Heading To PCs In The West In 2017

Recommended Videos

Back in March, Root Letter debuted on the PC in Japan after a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita release. Now we know it will be coming to the platform in other regions as well. A Steam listing has appeared for the English version of Root Letter.

In Root Letter, players follow a young man who used to exchange letters with a penpal named Aya Fumino. After she suddenly stops writing to him, he heads to Shimane to try and find out what happened to her. There are five different routes, multiple people to investigate, and an interesting look at a digital version of Shimane.

Details about the PC version have been noted on the product page. This iteration of Root Letter will have partial controller support, as well as allow you to earn achievements, save to the cloud, and collect trading cards.

Root Letter is “coming soon” to PCs in 2017. It is immediately available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
