Sonic Mania is set to release in less than two months for multiple platforms, and those who will be playing through the game on single player mode will have a small yet neat little feature to look forward to. When playing alone, you can get Sonic’s best pal Tails to carry you around by holding ↑ and pressing Jump twice. This feature was apparently not part of Sonic Mania’s earlier build. In fact, it was even erroneously reported as a bug by one of the game’s testers. You can check out a clip of Tails carrying Sonic in the Tweet below.

Sonic Mania will release on August 15th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
