Little Red Lie Is An Adventure Game Purely About Dishonesty

By Joel Couture . July 6, 2017 . 2:00pm

As players move through the stories of a pair of characters, the only interaction they can have with the people around them is to lie in Little Red Lie, a game that explores how deception shapes the lives of many.

Players will control Sarah, a middle-aged office administrator still living with her parents, and Arthur, a financial guru and motivational speak. The game’s page teases that these two are exploring separate stories and lives, but over the course of the game, the player will see a connection between the two of them based on how their lies shape both of their lives.

Players will explore a series of locations, meeting various characters over the course of the story. In these moments, players will be able to use the game’s sole interaction, LIE, in order to be dishonest with themselves and others so that they can secure the best possible financial future. Through knowing the best times to lie, players can reshape their lives, as well as slowly find the connections of deception that bind both characters together.
