Persona 5 is getting its first Nendoroid. Good Smile Company is making a diminutive Morgana. The Morgana Nendoroid was revealed on Kahotan’s Blog. While he does not yet have a release date, as his pre-orders open on July 11, 2017, he does have a number of special features that make this figure unique.
The first is the way in which his face plates is handled. Instead of having between three and four different faces to choose from, the Morgana Nendoroid’s face is broken up into two parts. People get four upper halves and four lower halves. This means there are up to sixteen different expressions that can be made.
The Morgana Nendoroid’s body is also different than usual. Like the Kill la Kill Mako Nendoroid, his arms have a more seamless look. This is due to flexible material being over the joints, to keep you from seeing the bendable parts.
In addition to the eight face plates and arm options, the Persona 5 Morgana Nendoroid includes other familiar pieces. He has a saber and a slingshot, the weapons he used in the game. There is also a spinning office chair and cigar, so people can recreate the pose he makes after executing an All-Out Attack.
The Morgana Nendoroid is the second Persona mascot Nendoroid, as there was previously a Persona 4 Teddie Nendoroid. Other Persona Nendoroids include Aegis, from Persona 3, and Yukiko Amagi from Persona 4.
