Sub-Zero’s Injustice 2 Appearance Dated

Back in May 2017, Sub-Zero was revealed to be one of the characters joining Injustice 2 in its first Fighter Pack 1 add-on. Today, we know exactly when everyone will have access to the Mortal Kombat icon. People who have picked up the Fighter Pack 1 or Ultimate Pack DLC or the Digital Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Edition of the game can download the fighter immediately. People who didn’t will be able to buy him alone on July 18, 2017.

The Injustice 2 version of Sub-Zero wears a costume designed by DC’s Jim Lee. His shaders alter his colors to make him look like other Mortal Kombat ninjas, such as Rain, Reptile, and Scorpion. He also has some equippable abilities that reference his icy nature, such as the teleporting Ice Port, an icy Barrier of Frost shield, and the Ground Freeze icy patch.

Injustice 2 is available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
