Sploosh-o-matic mains from Splatoon rejoice: Nintendo revealed that Splatoon 2 is adding the close-ranged specialist weapon tomorrow, August 5, 2017. 
The Sploosh-o-matic was originally added in the first Splatoon as a free DLC weapon over a month after its release. It was a weapon of choice for players that preferred fighting in short range combat with high attack power. While it has low accuracy and range, it more than makes up for it with its high fire rate and power. 
This time around, the Sploosh-o-matic will come equipped with the Splashdown special weapon along with the Curling Bomb as the sub-weapon. Splatoon 2 is available on Nintendo Switch.
