Back in June, we learned Idea Factory International was going to bring the Hakuoki story to another platform: PCs. Today, we have a release date for the first part of that story. On August 24, 2017, Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds will come to Steam. It will be 30% off for the first week.
In addition, Idea Factory International confirmed a Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds Deluxe Pack and Winds Treasure Box DLC will be available at launch. The Deluxe Pack add-on gives people the soundtrack, character art, mobile and PC wallpapers, and an event scene collection. The Winds Treasure Box DLC gives people six additional side-stories following Saitou, Touhou, Harada, Nagakura, Yamazaki, and Iba.
As a reminder, Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds is only half of the story. It covers the original adventure’s exploits in Kyoto, with the Edo portion coming in a future installment. However, this version does add Hachiro Iba, Kazue Souma, Ryouma Sakamoto, Keisuke Sanan, Shinpachi Nagakura, and Susumu Yamazaki as bachelors.
Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds is immediately available on the PlayStation Vita.
