Windjammers Gets A Retro Launch Trailer

Dotemu is bringing Windjammers, the Neo Geo frisbee-flinging classic, to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita tomorrow. To celebrate, it has released an infomercial-inspired trailer with an 80’s theme.

Windjammers may remind some people of Pong, as it involves each person controlling one of six different characters and attempting to get a frisbee past an opponent in six environments. Should you manage to block and catch the frisbee, you can execute standard or super throws. There are multiple multiplayer options, with Local Versus and GGPO netcode Online Quick Match and Ranked Versus. You can also unlock Bowling and Dog Distance minigames as you play.

Windjammers will be making its PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita debut on August 29, 2017. It is a cross-buy game.
