It has been a while since any Wattam news has appeared, but now there are new announcements ahead of PAX West 2017. It will not only appear at the show, but will be published by Annapurna Interactive. (Originally, Sony was on deck to publish the game.) A new trailer has appeared showing off some of the characters that will appear in the game.

Wattam was first announced in 2014 and is a project from Keita Takahashi, of Katamari Damacy and Noby Noby Boy fame, and Funomena. Players follow the Mayor, a green cube wearing a snazzy hat, and help him unlock and make friends. By solving puzzles, the world gets fuller and more playable characters appear.

Wattam was originally announced for the PlayStation 4. It is now coming to come to the PC and “other platforms” in 2018.
