A Snipperclips: Cut It Out, Together! update was announced during the September 13, 2017 Nintendo Direct. On November 10, 2017, Snipperclips Plus: Cut It Out, Together! will be released. It will be available physically at retail stores, while the update will be released for free to anyone who already owns the digital version of the game.

Snipperclips Plus: Cut It Out, Together! adds a number of new features to the game. There are two new worlds, bringing the total count up to five. (The new areas are inspired by a toy box and comic books.) Completed stages can now be replayed with each character getting a randomized body shape at the start. There are going to be three more Blitz Mode activities. A Stamp Mode is coming for people who want to get artistic and make designs.

Snipperclips: Cut It Out, Together! is available for the Nintendo Switch.
