Pokémon GO Celebrating Autumnal Equinox With An Event

Niantic has announced its next Pokémon GO event. On September 22, 2017, the game will celebrate the Autumnal Equinox with an event that revolves around catching Pokémon and hatching eggs. It will run until October 2, 2017.

One of the biggest news has to do with 2km eggs that will appear during this Pokémon GO event. When you collect such eggs from a gym or PokéStop, it might have a Chansey, Larvitar, or Mareep in it. When your eggs hatch, you will get double Stardust from them. Double Stardust will also be awarded for all catches. Should you find a Pokémon you haven’t seen before, you will get triple the XP from it.

There will also be item bundles sold during this Pokémon GO event. While prices were not revealed, Niantic did note that they will contain Lucky Eggs, Lure Modules, and Super Incubators. Super Incubators are new to the game and hatch eggs 1.5 times faster than a standard Incubator.

Pokémon GO is available for Android and Apple iOS devices.
