Bandai Namco shared some new tidbits on the Dark Souls-like vampire action RPG Code Vein in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine with an introduction to two new characters. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]
Jack Rutherford (CV: Junichi Suwabe): A Revenant who is known as the Revenant Hunter, and is feared by both allies and enemies. What could be his relation with the protagonist?
Eva Roux (CV: Saori Hayami): A woman Revenant who is indebted to Jack for saving her life. She’s in an opposed position to the protagonist but will be working together.
Both Jack and Eva will be characters that players can choose as their supporting Buddy characters.
Code Vein releases in early 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Siliconera interviewed game director Hiroshi Yoshimura and producer Keita Iizuka, who talked about the game’s difficulty, character development, and vampires, which you can read about here.
