ss_a54ab126bac19558cf077a2b131da7773f952c0f The Xbox One’s Xbox backwards compatibility feature has been dated. Microsoft will be expanding the program on October 24, 2017. Starting that day, 13 original Xbox games will be playable on the Xbox One if people own a digital or physical copy. (Thanks, IGN!)

The first 13 Xbox games consist of a mix of first and third party titles. To play, you just need to download the digital copy or put your original physical copy in the Xbox One. After a download, you will be able to play a version of that original game at 1080p with improved frame rates and less loading.

Here are the 13 Xbox games.

  • Black
  • Bloodrayne 2
  • Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge
  • Dead to Rights
  • Fuzion Frenzy
  • Grabbed by the Ghoulies
  • The King of Fighters Neowave
  • Ninja Gaiden Black
  • Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
  • Psychonauts
  • Red Faction II
  • Sid Meier’s Pirates!
  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

The Xbox One became backwards compatible with Xbox 360 games back in 2015.
