Spike Chunsoft Opening North American Offices In California

Spike Chunsoft is setting up a subsidiary in North America. An press release announcing the move was released on December 1, 2017. The Long Beach, California office is wholly owned by Spike Chunsoft and will be responsible for localizing, marketing, and publishing the company’s games in he region. An official website has opened, but it is rather barren and currently only features the announcement and a means of contacting the company.

Those interested in hearing about Spike Chunsoft’s North American branch’s first games and plans will need to wait until the 2018 Game Developers Conference. At the event, which will be held March 19-23, 2018, the company will have demos available and will hold an invite-only event to talk about its global expansion.

 

Some of the Spike Chunsoft games to receive worldwide releases recently include Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC, Fire Pro Wrestling World for the PC, and  Zero Escape: The Nonary Games for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC.
