Monster Hunter: World Will Add New Monsters Via Free Updates After Launch

Monster Hunter series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto recently mentioned that Monster Hunter: World will receive post-launch updates, and he was asked to share more details about that in a recent interview with Famitsu.

 

Famitsu: During the stream it was announced that there will be post-release updates for free [for Monster Hunter: World], but what kind of content will you add?

Ryozo Tsujimoto, Producer: “We’re thinking about free updated for Monster Hunter: World after its release. To be more specific, we plan on adding new monsters and such, to get players to play for as long as possible. As for what kind of monsters will be added, we’ll share more information on that later, so please look forward to it.

 

Monster Hunter: World releases on January 26, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A PC version will arrive later.
