My Nintendo Gold Points Can Be Used To Buy Switch Games In March 2018

Recommended Videos

Nintendo Switch owners will finally be able to put My Nintendo Gold Points to use with their systems. Nintendo has revealed that in early March 2018, the system will receive an update that will allow people in North America, Europe and Japan to use Gold Points they have accumulated from purchasing games to buy Nintendo Switch games from the eShop.

People will be able to use My Nintendo Gold Points in conjunction with other forms of payment. So if a shopper does not have enough Gold Points to completely purchase a game from the Nintendo Switch eShop, they can use money in their Wallet or a credit card to complete the transaction.

My Nintendo Gold Points are valid for one year after earning them. This means once this program launches in March 2018, people would be able to use Gold Points earned in March 2017 or later.
