Nintendo Applies For Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion Logo And Wario Land Name Trademarks

  Nintendo recently applied for nine trademarks in Japan, with one of them being the ‘Octo’ logo from Splatoon 2’s Octo Expansion, and several name trademarks in English, including Wario Land. [Thanks, Japanese Nintendo!]     The trademarks are:

• Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breakers
• Luigi’s Mansion
• Mario & Luigi
• Metroid
• Metroid Prime
• Smash Bros.
• Wario Land
• WarioWare

  All these nine trademarks were applied for the ‘downloadable video game programs’ category.
