During the PlayStation Live Paris Games Week 2017 introductory live stream, we learned that Guacamelee was getting a sequel. It would be called Guacamelee 2 and would show up on the PlayStation 4 “soon-ish.” Now, Drinkbox Studios has confirmed that the game is “coming soon” to PCs as well.

A Steam page for Guacamelee 2 is now open. It reminds people that this Metroidvania will have new mechanics, four player local co-op and additional abilities, both in standard and chicken forms. It also notes that the game will offer achievements, Cloud support and leaderboards. The languages supported will be English, French, Italian, German, Korean, Portuguese-Brazil, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Spanish.

In addition, all of Drinkbox Studios games are temporarily on sale via Steam in honor of the developer’s tenth anniversary. They will be reduced until April 13, 2018. People can get Guacamelee, either the Gold or Super Turbo Championship Edition, for $1.49 and Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack for $0.79.

Guacamelee 2 will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and PC.
