The North American launch date for the Nintendo Switch physical copy of Shantae: Half-Genie Hero has been set. It will be released in the region on May 8, 2018. The Ultimate Day One Edition will cost $39.99. As a reminder, a digital copy of the game is $19.99 in the eShop.
As a reminder, the Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Day One Edition is essentially a collector’s edition version of the game for the Nintendo Switch. In addition to the base game, you get the Costume Mode, Friends Mode and Pirate Queen’s Quest add-ons, a 100-page art book and the 30-track Risky Beats soundtrack. The $19.99 digital copy sold in the eShop only includes the base game and does not offer the DLC or other extras.
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One and PC.
