Phantasy Star Online 2: Cloud Is Now Live In Japan On Nintendo Switch

Phantasy Star Online 2: Cloud, the Cloud-based Nintendo Switch version of Sega’s MMORPG title is now live in Japan. Here’s an introduction trailer and videos to help guide new players.

 

First, here’s a look at an introduction trailer for Phantasy Star Online 2: Cloud:

Phantasy Star Online 2: Cloud uses high-speed broadband connection with the game data available on the cloud server, meaning players can play without having to worry about downloads and updates. Framerates are set at 30fps, and depending on network situation players may experience some lag.

 

Players can share progress on different platforms such as the PC, PS4, and PS Vita versions of Phantasy Star Online 2 by using the same SEGA ID. Furthermore, those playing on Nintendo Switch can play with up to 12 players, and can also go questing with players on the PC version of the game.
