Back on April 26, 2018, Nicalis released a video of the Blade Strangers opening cinematic that was about two minutes long. It covered all of the characters appearing in the fighter at the time. Since then, Gunvolt, Isaac, Quote and Shovel Knight have been revealed as playable characters. As a result, a complete version of the animated introduction that includes all of these additional fighters has been released.

The Blade Strangers opening’s new content comes at the 1:54 mark in the trailer. The original footage ended with Solange going to attack the original character Lina. The new video shows what happens after that assault.

Blade Strangers will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC in Summer 2018 .
