My Girlfriend Is A Mermaid?! Heading To Nintendo Switch And PC

Sekai Project has revealed a new visual novel it will be bringing to the Nintendo Switch and PC in North America and Europe at Anime Central 2018. Talesshop and Cosen’s My Girlfriend is a Mermaid?! will be localized.

 

In My Girlfriend is a Mermaid?!, players follow a young man who returns to his hometown over the summer. When he gets there, he reunites with his childhood friend, Ion. Except, it turns out she is now a mermaid. While there, he also meets Petakko, an amnesiac mermaid, and Rin, a priestess who cares for the mermaids. Players have an opportunity to interact with the young women and learn more about mermaids and their legends. Ion is voiced by Mai Fuchigami, Petakko is voiced by Aya Susaki and Rin is voiced by Risa Kayama.

Originally, My Girlfriend is a Mermaid?! was released on Android devices as Bang-guseog-e In-eoagassi in 2014. The Nintendo Switch version has a new theme song sung by the Ion, Petakko and Rin’s voice actresses, Live 2D animation and new storyline segments.

 

My Girlfriend is a Mermaid?! will come to the Nintendo Switch and PC in 2018.
