More of Mario Tennis Aces’ upcoming competitors have been revealed. While Blooper and Koopa Troopa will be arriving in the next few months, it turns out Birdo, Diddy Kong and Koopa Paratroopa will soon join them. Nintendo confirmed their inclusion today. (Thanks, Japanese Nintendo!)
Birdo, Diddy Kong and Koopa Paratroopa have been suspected as possible competitors since April 2018, as a Japanese pre-order bonus bag had icons for the three characters. Nintendo notes that these three options will appear after September 2018.
As a reminder, Koopa Troopa will be the first extra character. Mario Tennis Aces players can earn him early in the July 2018 tournament or wait until August 2018, when he will be given to everyone. Early access to Blooper will come if you earn enough points in the August tournament, and everyone will get him in September.
Mario Tennis Aces will come to the Nintendo Switch on June 22, 2018.
