Level-5 has revealed Inazuma Eleven Ares anime will be getting a worldwide release. In a press release, the company notes that the reboot series will launch in Europe in Fall 2018. It also says that a North American debut will begin in 2019. The show is currently airing in Japan.

After confirming the anime launch dates, the official announcement says, “The slate also includes the premiere of the video game in 2019 with the aim to tap into the growing eSports movement.” The Inazuma Eleven Ares game is in development for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and both Android and Apple iOS devices.

In Inazuma Eleven Ares, people get to see an alternate take on the series. The events of the original Inazuma Eleven happened and the Raimon Eleven won at the Football Frontier. However, unlike in the original series, aliens did not attack. Instead, youth soccer teams need sponsors to play. Asuto and his teammates are brought to Raimon Junior High to become the school’s new team and enter the Football Frontier.

Inazuma Eleven Ares is expected to release on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Android devices and iOS devices in Japan in Fall 2018.
