Chasm finally has a release date, which was revealed on the PlayStation Blog. The PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and PC Metroidvania with a procedurally generated map will launch on July 31, 2018. It will cost $19.99. Also, it is a cross-buy game on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

The blog post also revealed the seed number mechanic. While the mine in Chasm is procedurally generated, you can guarantee which map you get by entering a seed when you begin a new game. After you enter your name, determine if you are Mortal and turn Hard Mode off or on, you enter a seed number to guarantee which world you enter.

Chasm’s Kickstarter originally launched on April 12, 2013. It received $191,897 from 6,938 backers.
