Koei Tecmo took to Twitter to reveal that Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition DX will be released outside of Japan. The Nintendo Switch version of Dynasty Warriors 8, which was announced for Japan earlier this month, will be released on the eShop as Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition on December 27, 2018.
This means that Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition will have a simultaneous worldwide release date. It will appear in all regions on December 27, 2018. However, the North American and European versions will only be available digitally. In Japan, a physical and digital release is planned. As a reminder, it will include the game and all of its DLC.
Dynasty Warriors 8 is immediately available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, and PC.
