Resident Evil 2 Remake Will Be Around 21GB

Now that the Resident Evil 2 launch is just over a month away, more details are coming in detailing what people can expect. For instance, we have a better idea of how much room the game will take up on people’s hard drives, should they go with a digital copy. The official Microsoft Store has updated the Xbox One product listing, noting it is a 21.05GB download.

This Resident Evil 2 remake download size falls in line with what we saw with Resident Evil 7. That game was 21.34GB on the Xbox One and 22.16GB on the PlayStation 4. While the PlayStation Store has not yet been updated with a file size, it should fall in line with the Xbox One estimate, if history repeats itself.

The PC version of Resident Evil 2 does not yet have a file size connected to it, so we can’t compare. However, Resident Evil 7 asks that people have about 24GB free for it.

Resident Evil 2 will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25, 2018.
