People who were on the fence about picking up the final entry in the Lara Croft reboot trilogy now have a chance to see if the game is for them without making a serious commitment. A Shadow of the Tomb Raider free trial has been released. The playable segment takes Lara Croft to look at a tomb near Cozumel, Mexico to see a bit of the introduction pulled from the full game.

Since this Shadow of the Tomb Raider free trial actually covers the first portion of the game, it has a number of features people might appreciate. Namely, that your progress can carry over. When you play through this sample, you get a chance to keep everything you unlocked. That includes trophies or achievements you earned while playing.

Here is a Shadow of the Tomb Raider free trial trailer looking at what people will see in the demo.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
