This week is time for Dragon Quest Builders 2’s time to shine. The sequel to the Dragon Quest series’ surprisingly popular voxel crafter/action RPG hybrid is set on several islands in the middle of nowhere. And for some reason, the final boss of Dragon Quest 2, Malroth, is your ally. Just what’s going on?
Apart from Dragon Quest Builders 2, Root Letter: Last Answer is getting released. This remake has live-action cutscenes, and adds a new scenario as well. While somewhat quiet on the marketing front, Super Neptunia RPG, Compile Heart and newcomer studio Artisan Studios’ Valkyrie Profile-esque game, is also coming out this week.
Finally, there are several remakes and remasters to mention. Onimusha: Warlords is being remastered for PS4 and Switch this week, and Kunio-kun: The World Classics Collection brings together both Japanese and stateside versions of Kunio-kun games, alongside Double Dragon, II, and III.
