Back at TGS 2018, Sega announced that they are making a game based on Kemono Friends, and it turns out it’s not one but two games – Kemono Friends 3 for smartphones, and Kemono Friends 3: Planet Tours for arcade. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Kemono Friends 3 is currently open for pre-registering, and is set to be a gacha game. Characters from Kemono Friends 3 are set to appear in Episode 2 of the Kemono Friends 2 anime that is currently ongoing, and it also has been announced that if the game reaches 10,000 pre-registers, a short anime based on Kemono Friends 3 will be made.
As for arcade game Kemono Friends 3: Planet Tours, we will be seeing more information at Japan Amusement Expo 2019, which will be held from January 26-27, 2019. The arcade machine will be unveiled there, alongside stage events featuring voice actresses from the anime. Visitors will also be able to try out the game there.
More information will be revealed on both games later on. Kemono Friends 3 is in development for iOS and Android. Kemono Friends 3: Planet Tours is in development for arcades.
