CESA released their picks for the best games released between April 1, 2005 and March 31 2006. The list is fairly predictable. Animal Crossing: Wild World, Final Fantasy XII and Shadow of the Colossus snag awards. World of Warcraft also gets props as it received the award for the best game designed outside of Japan. The real surprise is seen in the future awards, which are given out to games that are thought to be hits in the future. Blue Dragon got one of the coveted prizes and Elebits is the only Wii game on the list. However three Playstation 3 titles make it on top. Gran Turismo HD, Heavenly Sword and the camera card game the Eye of Judgment snag this prize. Are these games a triple threat to Microsoft and Nintendo?
