Virtual Console games coming to Japan in April

By Spencer . March 30, 2007 . 9:30am

Nintendo updated their Virtual Console release schedule in Japan with a few notable additions. Next week Punch Out comes out in Japan and it looks like that this is the version with Mr. Dream instead of Mike Tyson. Nintendo hasn’t announced Punch Out or for that matter Mike Tyson’s Punch Out for North America, but I’m betting that we’re getting plain old Punch Out. Ninja Gaiden is another notable addition that is worth 500 points considering how much buying the cart on eBay can cost. There are lots of shmups coming out this month. Gradius 2, Final Soldier and the sole Nintendo 64 release Star Fox 64. My pick of the month is PC Denjin better known as Air Zonk, a TurboGrafx-16 shmup with Bonk from the distant future.
