I believe it’s the same version already out, except with English as the default language. Also previous screenshots from Square-Enix USA had the language option in it so I don’t see why they would remove it.
Damn it all, why can’t they do things on the weekends? I can’t get into SF on a tuesday night. Insane.
Back in….2000 or 2001 I attended the Final Fantasy IX release party. I’ve still got the Vivi plush doll they game and US 4 CD Final Fantasy VIII OST release. That was sweet because it was on a saturday. Not a damned tuesday evening.
It’s taking place right across the street from where the Game Developers Conference happened.
The Japanese text option could probably be removed though if they’re like the US Phoenix Wrights. If so, the Jpn version would be the better one to get, even at $10 more.
This remake looks awesome for a 2d touch-up, I’m loving the amount of detail that’s been put into it compared to older versions.
note: 1st screen - wedge = black mage, looks pretty cool like vivi, then they changed the jobs & the other black mage designs look kind of plain & rubbish =/
I’ll probably buy this touch up after I find out if star ocean: eternal edition is going to be released for europe, so I can get my bloody SO psp >.>

Does the NA version include the Japanese text option(s)?
