Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 Release Sacked With A Delay

Sega’s plan was to release Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 this summer. That’s not happening anymore. Sega delayed the downloadable Sonic game to tweak it.

The additional development time will be used to tweak, balance, tune, and polish Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 so it feels like a classic Sonic game. Unfortunately this also means Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 won’t arrive on PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, WiiWare or iPhone (officially confirmed today) until “late 2010.”

 

Here’s a brief look at what you’ll be able to play much later this year.
