A Japanese Developer Made A Game About Jerks Who Ring Doorbells And Run Away

Ding Dong Ditch, I believe that’s what it’s called in America, is a kid’s prank that has someone ring on a doorbell and run away before a person can answer it. That’s the inspiration for Ding Dong Dash, which lets players annoy virtual neighbors.

The goal of the game is to drive people crazy without getting caught. When you see a silhouette appear in the window you need to run away. There are ten different houses to pester in the game.

Ding Dong Dash also has a time attack mode where players see how long it takes to get a hundred doorbell rings.
