Marvelous jokingly state that the game will cost $999.99 upon release, making it “the most expensive Steam game in the history of mankind”. Of course, that isn’t really how much it will cost, but attempts—even violent ones—to get producer Esteban Salazar to cough up the actual price proved futile.

The press release sent to us by Marvelous does state, however, that owners of the first Half Minute Hero game on Steam will receive a 25% discount on the second.

You can find a list of features that will be available in Half Minute Hero: The Second Coming in this prior report on the game.
