Telltale And Mojang Join Forces On Narrative-Based Episodic Adventure Minecraft: Story Mode

Recommended Videos

Mojang has teamed up with Telltale Games on a new episodic narrative-based adventure called Minecraft: Story Mode. It’ll be coming to PlayStation and Xbox consoles, PC, iOS, and Android in 2015.

As you may expect, it’ll play like other Telltale adventure game series, such as The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead, and Tales of the Borderlands, and will be driven by player choice. The difference of course being that it’s based on the voxel world of Minecraft.

Mojang and Telltale will be consulting the Minecraft community in order to make the series as “Minecrafty” as possible. They won’t, however, be laying down any official lore for Minecraft, or looking to explain its world in any detail.

The announcement of Minecraft: Story Mode was managed with a small browser-based game called Info Quest II, which you can play here.
